HOW TO CATCH THE REALLY BIG ONES!
Landon Mayer and John Barr
Landon
Mayer has just completed a new book, “How to Catch the Biggest
Trout of Your Life” and with John Barr also a DVD that provides a
reference guide for when on a river where you know large trout reside.
Be among the first to hear how they did it, see the video trailer and
have questions answered. The book can be ordered at the meeting, and
DVDs will be available for purchase.
Landon has been guiding in Colorado for nine years and is a certified fly casting instructor. He specializes in pursuit of trophy trout, and holds the Colorado record for brown trout on a 4 lb. test — at 30 inches and 11 lbs.
Landon is a feature writer for the High Country Angler magazine, has been published in Fly Fisherman and American Angler magazines, is also an ambassador for Cloudviel apparel, and a member of Ross Reels pro staff.
John
is a legendary fly designer from Boulder, Colorado. He is the creator
of dozens of the world’s best-selling flies, including the Copper
John, Barr Emerger, Slump Buster & Graphic Caddis Pupa. He has
developed numerous fly fishing and tying instructional videos, and a
pro staff ambassador for numerous companies including, Ross Reels,
Sage, Umpqua and Simms. He will share some tying insights and insider
techniques.
