Program:
GIANT
RAINBOWS OF KAMCHATKA
Speaker: Mark Lance -
Wildlife and Nature Photographer

This narrated slide show chronicles the rugged beauty and spectacular
fly fishing on the Kamchatka Peninsula in Russia’s Far
East. Mark, wife Sharon and their crew floated and fished the
Two Yurt River, a productive little freestone, in one-man
catarafts. They also explore the Ozernaya, one of
Kamchatka’s premier spring creeks, fishing for large
grayling, Dolly Varden and giant rainbows.
Don't miss this beautifully programmed presentation. Enjoy
the scenery and the photographic recording of how they camped in the
wilds of Eastern Russia and fished these two exotic rivers.
Mark Lance has been fly fishing Colorado and the Rocky Mountains region
for over thirty-five years. His passion for the sport draws
him to the water about sixty days a year to fly fish and photograph the
environment, and he is a long time member of Trout Unlimited.
Mark is on the pro staff for Hyde Drift Boat Company and Scott Fly Rod
Company, as well as the Rocky Mountain Field Editor for Southwest Fly
Fishing Magazine. One of the West’s premier outdoor
photographers, Mark’s work has been published in
TU’s Trout Magazine, Saltwater Fly Fishing, Fly Rod and Reel,
Gray’s Sporting Journal, Northwest, Southwest and Eastern Fly
Fishing magazines. His photos have also been featured by the
International Game Fish Association, The Scott Fly Rod Company, Thomas
and Thomas, Hyde Drift Boats and American Rivers.
“You & CTU”, a brief presentation about
Colorado Trout Unlimited and it’s mission, programs and
benefits for Colorado fishermen, will also be presented by Sharon
Lance, Immediate Past President of CTU.
